In the old days, the Virginia Beach and Virginia real estate arena exclusively represented the Seller. However, that has now changed and the Hampton Roads Home Buyer has an equal degree of representation. Ask yourself – Why should the Buyer not have the benefit of their own counsel and representative agent? Why wouldn’t I. Virginia believes they should and thus you can have that added value. The Buyers Agent can and does work with you with finding and evaluating property. Our job is to simply find you the property that you like, negotiate the best price, and terms along with the offer without the sellers involvement – the seller has their own llsting agent. You have confidentiality and protection when you work with a Virginia Beach Buyers Agent. To protect yourself, you must sign an agency agreement with the Buyer’s Agent which spells out responsibilities to each other. It also now commits your Buyer’s Agent to working with you 100%. In short, it means you both now have a vested interest in each other.
It does not matter whether you are a first time home buyer, 2nd home buyer, upgrading or downsizing, relocation, or a FSBO (For sale by owner) in Hampton Roads.
