How to Use Craigs List for Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Norfolk and Hampton Roads Real Estate
With all the many real estate websites available to search for Virginia Beach, Suffolk, Norfolk, Chesapeake, and Hampton Roads real estate why do people flock to Craigs List?
Peace!! Maybe you have visited Craigslist and seen the peace sign in your browser window.
Craigs List although monitored is a free for all with just about anything. For Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, and Norfolk Real Estate it offers viewers to see REALTOR® listings (those that post), FSBOs, and other people posting real estate for sale. It is simple, free from commercial ads, and user friendly for the average person.
My original post mentioned the various benefits of Craigs List. I use Craigs List for most of my Virginia Beach real estate postings regarding listings. I post informational real estate stuff for the consumer potentially looking to buy a Virginia Beach home or condo. I provide Virginia Beach real estate market reports, military relocation, neighborhood profiles, and basic consumer tidbits such as buying and selling tips, credit score and how it effects purchasing real estate, or mortgage trends.
Ever visit Craigs List? The local Craigs List for this area has hundreds if not thousands of Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads homes and real estate for sale, rent, share, whatever. Nationally, there are thousands of homes for sale on this website. While Craigs list is not yet huge in this Virginia Beach real estate market (but it is getting so), a northern California REALTOR® told me that it is widely used in that area for home searching or real estate purchases. There is also a Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feed so you can get daily updates on Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads real estate coming on the market. Consider subscribing to my RSS feed and view the local real estate news at your leisure vice logging on and searching or viewing websites.
Besides Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads homes, you can find just about anything on the site from jobs to discussion groups, home garage sales, and non real estate things we wont even touch on right now. My point here is that it is a good way to search for real estate out of area as well as advertising your Virginia Beach or Hampton Roads home if selling. In todays Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads real estate market you need innovative thinking by your REALTOR® coupled with traditional methods to sell your Virginia Beach real estate.
