Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads Real Estate Prices Increase

The Virginia Pilot reported that Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads real estate prices rose for the month of March 2009.  Typically, the spring period brings out more buyers. The median sale price in Hampton Roads in March was $214,000 up 7 percent from $200,000 in February.  However, that is down 4.3 percent from median of $223,000 a year ago.
